Josef Platzer

Josef Platzer is an economist in the IMF’s research department, primarily working on the External Sector Report. Previously he worked on the United States and the Bahamas in the Western Hemisphere Department. His research interest is in open macroeconomics and monetary policy. Mr. Platzer holds a Ph.D. in economics from Brown University.
