Zhao Zhang is an economist in the World Economic Studies Division of the IMF’s Research Department. He holds a PhD in Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, and earned both his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Tsinghua University in Beijing. His research focuses on macro-finance, financial intermediaries, and labor finance.
