This workshop, conducted by the IMF Statistics Department (STA), is designed to assist member countries with preparing for implementation of the new macroeconomic standards, the 2025 System of National Accounts (2025 SNA). The goal of the workshop will be to assess preparedness, identify priorities and resource requirements, and to encourage the development of national strategies for implementing the new standards. Ahead of the workshop, STA will administer an online self-assessment tool, which will be used to assist compilers in setting priorities and determining what support they might require to implement the new standards.
