Course description
- The course introduces participants to compiling national accounts statistics based on the System of National Accounts, 2008 (2008 SNA) framework.
- Coverage includes:
- The sequence of national accounts.
- The accounting rules.
- The key macroeconomic aggregates in the SNA framework.
- Participants learn about the three measures of GDP: the production, income, and expenditure approaches.
- Instruction on how to estimate volume measures of value added.
Course objectives
