Gabriela Cugat is an economist at the Development Macroeconomics Division in the Research Department. Previously she worked in the Asia and Pacific Department. Her research interests include international macroeconomics, economic growth, household heterogeneity and inequality. She holds a PhD from Northwestern University and she joined the IMF in 2019.
