Sidra Rehman is an economist in the IMF’s Middle East and Central Asia Department. Prior to her current role, she worked in the IMF’s Research Department and the Asia Pacific Department. Before joining the Fund, Sidra worked at the World Bank and the World Trade Organization. Her main research interests lie in development economics with a focus on growth, trade and human capital issues. She holds a PhD and an MPA from Columbia University, and a BSc from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
