The country composition of the regional groups used in the IMF Data Mapper® is primarily based on the UNESCO classification. The data for these groupings are derived from the World Economic Outlook database.
Data for countries appearing in italics typeface in the tables below are not included in the aggregated data displayed in the Mapper's geographic regions, because (i) they are not IMF members and their economies are not monitored by the IMF; or (ii) the respective databases are not yet fully developed; or (iii) the IMF does not receive data from these countries.
