Alexander Culiuc is an Economist in the Emerging Markets Division of the IMF's Strategy, Policy, and Review Department. His work focuses on several cross-country issues, including growth, vulnerabilities, debt restructuring, and international trade in services. He previously worked on a number of emerging market economies in the African Department. Prior to joining the Fund, Alex was an economic consultant with the Millennium Challenge Corporation, the World Bank, the African Development Bank, and the Government of Moldova.
