Corrado Macchiarelli is an Economist (Mid-Career Program) in the Money and Capital Markets Department of the International Monetary Fund. Previously, he held full-time posts at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research, Brunel University London, the European Central Bank, as well as he consulted for the European Central Bank, the Swedish Riksbank, the European Parliament and the European Commission. His interests mainly lie in the fields of international macro and finance, financial economics, expectation modeling, business cycles. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Torino, Collegio Carlo Alberto, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the London School of Economics.
