Dmytro Solohub is a Senior Financial Sector Expert at the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the IMF. His primary focus of work is central bank governance, transparency and communications. Since joining the Fund in October 2021 he led IMF’s Central Bank Transparency Review missions for Canada and Seychelles and contributed to various Technical Assistance projects. Before joining the IMF, Dmytro spent more than six years in the National Bank of Ukraine at the position of the Deputy Governor in charge of monetary policy, financial stability, international relations and statistics. Prior to that Dmytro held the position of the Head of Research in one of the largest commercial banks in Ukraine. Also, at the earlier stage of his career Dmytro worked as an Economist in IMF Resident Representative Office in Ukraine. He holds BA and MA degrees in Economics obtained from Belarusian State University and Kyiv-Mohyla Academy respectively and is also a CFA chartholder.
