Hiroko Oura is the chief of an MCM division managing Financial Sector Assessment Programs (FSAPs) and stress tests. She has numerous FSAP experiences and publications in financial stability, financial development and growth, and corporate finance areas, including her recent works developing a new climate change stress testing approach and a systemwide liquidity stress testing tool as well as leading chapters in Global Financial Stability Reports. After joining the Fund in 2004, she held various positions at the IMF. Hiroko received BA and MA in economics from the University of Tokyo and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
