Rasmane Ouedraogo is Economist in the IMF’s African Department where he works on Côte d’Ivoire. Prior to joining the African Department, he worked in the IMF’s Statistics Department (Balance of Payments Division) and the World Bank’s Macroeconomics and Fiscal Management Global Practice. His broad research interests relate to development economics and macroeconomics.
Mr. Ouedraogo is from Burkina Faso. He received his Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from University of Auvergne, Clermont Ferrand (France). He holds a Master’s degrees in International Economics, Development Economics, and Project Management from Clermont School of Economics (France), and a Bachelor degree in Macroeconomics and Development Management from the University of Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso).
