Tahsin Saadi Sedik is a Senior Economist at the IMF's Asia and Pacific Department, working on Regional Economic Outlook reports and other cross-country research projects. He was also the IMF Mission Chief for Brunei Darussalam. Previously, he worked at the IMF's Monetary and Capital Markets Department. His current research interests focus on the digital economy and fintech, macroprudential and monetary policies, capital flows, inequality, and commodity prices. Tahsin Saadi Sedik holds a Ph.D. from the Center for Studies and Research on International Development (CERDI)—Université d’Auvergne, France.
