Development milestones
- The development of the BPM7 chapters will go through the following major milestones:
- Draft annotated outlines
- Final annotated outlines
- Draft chapters
- Final chapters
- The System of National Accounts (SNA) and the Balance of Payments Manual updates are being carried out in close collaboration; a number of joint SNA/BPM chapters are being developed.
Draft/Annotated outline and chapter versions
- The annotated outline and chapter workflow includes numbered versions:
- 1: The version of the annotated outline that was posted for global consultation.
- 2: The version of the annotated outline incorporating the comments from global consultation and AEG/BOPCOM, and cleared by BPM/SNA project managers.
- 3: The version of the chapter posted for global consultation.
- 4: This version incorporates the comments from BOPCOM and cleared by BPM project manager.
