IMF Alert Line—For Emergency and weather-related information
The Fund’s headquarters buildings are closed on 01-27-2026. Employees should not report for work in HQ buildings unless they have been specifically asked to do so. Employees are required to telework but may take unscheduled annual leave after informing their supervisor of their decision and recording it in the leave system. Check the Fund's Alert Line (202) 623-9999, www.imf.org/alert, or intranet notices for updates.
Business Hours
The IMF's Washington Headquarters are normally open for business Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (ET). Headquarters are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and on the days indicated in the schedule below.
