Jiaqian Chen is deputy division chief in the IMF’s research department, primarily working on the External Sector Report. Previously he worked on the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Turkey, and Israel in the European department and monetary and macroprudential policies in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department. His research interest is in open macroeconomics, macro finance, and monetary policy. Mr. Chen holds a Ph.D. in economics from London School of Economics.
