Matthieu Bellon

Matthieu Bellon is an economist in the IMF’s Fiscal Affair Department. In this position he is contributing to the analytical work on the differential effects of fiscal policy on firms. His broad research interests relate to international trade and macroeconomics. Prior to joining the Fiscal Affair Department, he worked in the IMF’s African Department, in the investment banking sector and at the Banque de France. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University, and Master degrees in Economics from l’École Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Économique in Paris.
