Rangachary Ravikumar, Senior Financial Sector Expert with the IMF's Monetary and Capital Markets Department since October 2020, previously served as Chief General Manager at the Reserve Bank of India, where he established the Cyber Security and IT Examination Group. He is part of the Basel Operational Resilience Working Group and has contributed to several international cyber risk working groups. Ravikumar has provided cyber risk technical assistance and training to numerous countries, conducted FSAP assessments for Australia, Switzerland, and Türkiye and helped develop cyber risk supervision tools and courses. He holds an MBA, CFA, FRM, and CISA certifications, and completed executive programs at London Business School and Columbia Business School.
