A delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), led by Mr. Julien Reynaud, held virtual meetings from October 23 to 31 and visited N’Djamena from November 13 to 21, 2025.
Purpose: to conduct discussions on the first review of the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) with Chad.

The delegation “has made significant progress toward reaching a staff-level agreement on the first review of the ECF.”
Discussions will continue virtually in the coming days.
The delegation congratulated the authorities on the “significant mobilization of resources in support of financing their national development plan – Chad Connection 2030.”

Staff will prepare a report based on the mission’s preliminary observations.
Subject to management approval, that report will be presented to the Executive Board for discussion and decision.
