Yu Shi is an economist in the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Yu’s research interests are applied Macroeconomics, corporate finance and housing. In her dissertation, she uses rich firm-level data to examine the impact of sectoral shocks on aggregate fluctuations and economic growth through the lens of corporate decisions.
