Hou Wang is an Economist in the Western Hemisphere Department of the International Monetary Fund. Her research interests include monetary policy and international finance, with experience working on a variety of macroeconomic models, including DSGE and semi-structural models. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University, where she worked on quantitative models of sovereign debt and default.
