Seunghwan Kim is an economist in the Strategy, Policy, and Review Department of the IMF, where he is working on various strategic issues for the Fund. His recent analytical work focuses on the global financial safety net and the implications of rising cyber risks. Seunghwan is also on the IMF’s team for Cameroon. He began his career at the Korean Ministry of Economy and Finance, where he worked in the fields of foreign exchange policy and international finance. He holds an MBA from Dartmouth College.
