Era Dabla-Norris is an Assistant Director in the IMF’s Asia Pacific Department and mission chief for Vietnam. She leads the work on fiscal and climate issues in the department. Previously, she was a Division Chief in the IMF’s Fiscal Affairs Department, working on structural reforms and productivity, income inequality, fiscal spillovers, debt, and demographics. Since joining the IMF, she has worked on a range of advanced, emerging market, and low-income countries and published widely on a variety of topics, and has been a contributing member of the World Economic Council. She holds a MSc from the Delhi School of Economics and a PhD from University of Texas.
