The privacy notice explains how the International Monetary Fund (IMF) collects and uses personal data in the context of its procurement activities, the rights you have in relation to your personal data, and how you may exercise those rights.
For the purpose of this privacy notice procurement activities include procurement and solicitations procedures, awarding of contracts as well as actions taken under contract such as, but not limited to, internal competitions, requisitions, Purchase Orders, renewals or amendments.
The type of personal data processed by the IMF depends on your role and involvement in its procurement activities. This may include your name, professional contact details, background information such as CV, job title, organizational affiliation, payment details, and other personal data required for procurement activities.
The IMF collects and uses this data for the purpose of managing and administering procurement activities. The IMF processes this data on legitimate bases, including to comply with the IMF’s policies, procedures and rules or with other legal obligations of the IMF.
Access to personal data is limited to authorized IMF personnel and selected third parties, involved in procurement activities. Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the intended purposes or as required by internal policy requirements.
