Davide Furceri

Davide Furceri is Division Chief in the Fiscal Affairs Department. Before he was the Mission Chief for Cambodia and Deputy Division Chief in the Asia and Pacific Department of the IMF. Previous IMF positions include in the Research Department and the Middle East and Central Asia Department. He has published extensively in leading academic and policy-oriented journals on a wide range of topics in the areas of macroeconomics, public finance, international macroeconomics and structural reforms. Davide Furceri is a highly cited economist in scholarly journals (ranked in the top 1 percent of economists worldwide over the past ten years, according to RePEc) and his writings have featured prominently in the financial press.
