IMF Opens Web Site on Internet
The International Monetary Fund has opened a web site on the Internet. The public will now have on-line access to IMF press releases, information on IMF lending, the complete text of the IMF's 1996 Annual Report, and a range of other material about the IMF. The IMF's Dissemination Standards Bulletin Board may also be accessed through the IMF's Home Page.
The IMF's Internet site also contains a directory of IMF publications that allows users to search for publications by author, title, or subject. An e-mail address is provided for those wishing to request free publications, and an order form for priced publications may be downloaded from the site.
