Regional Economic Outlook for the Caucasus and Central Asia, October 2023

We expect GDP growth in the Caucasus and Central Asia to remain strong at 4.6% in 2023, supported by continued trade and financial flows from Russia. Inflation will fall from 11% in 2023 to 8.3% in 2024. The IMF’s Jihad Azour explains.
