Review of the Framework for Data Adequacy Assessment for Surveillance The Fund notes the new Data Adequacy Assessment for Surveillance (“DAA”) set forth in SM/23/249, which includes the introduction of a new Data Issues Annex in Article IV consultation staff reports in place of the Statistical Issues Appendix in the informational annex. The Fund agrees that the new DAA framework provides a more structured, principle-based, and transparent assessment of data adequacy to support surveillance.
