Mr. Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), issued the following statement today on the death of Ms. Benazir Bhutto in Pakistan:
"I am deeply saddened to hear the shocking news today from Pakistan about the death of Ms. Benazir Bhutto. On behalf of the International Monetary Fund, I offer my deepest condolences to her family and the families of all the other victims of this tragic event."
