Sonali Das is a deputy division chief in the IMF’s Strategy, Policy, and Review Department, where she coordinates the operationalization of the IMF’s Integrated Policy Framework. Prior to her current assignment, she was a senior economist in the Research Department, contributing to the World Economic Outlook, and in the Asia and Pacific Department, where she was the senior desk for China and a desk economist on the India, Nepal, and Fiji teams. She previously worked as SPR economist on an IMF program with Pakistan. She holds a PhD in economics from Cornell University.
