Signe Krogstrup is an Advisor in the Research Department, where she carries out research projects on monetary policy, international capital flows and external imbalances. Prior to joining the Fund in 2016, she was a Visiting Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, and Assistant Director and Deputy Head of Monetary Policy Analysis at the Swiss National Bank. She also worked for the United Nations in Beirut, and as a lecturer at the Graduate Institute in Geneva. She has published widely on a broad range of economies policy issues.
