Antonio Spilimbergo

Antonio Spilimbergo studied economics at the University Bocconi of Milan where he worked for a year. He received his Ph.D. in economics from M.I.T. in 1994. He worked at the Inter-American Development Bank between 1994 and 1997. Since July 1997, he has worked in the fiscal and research departments at the I.M.F.. His areas of interest are: international trade, development, labor economics, and macroeconomics.
