A key objective of tax administration is to attain high rates of voluntary on-time payment and low incidence of tax arrears. Preventing arrears from occurring, and effective management and early collection of arrears when they arise, therefore, need to be key priorities. The course aims to provide participants with exposure to the key fundamentals of efficient and effective payment systems to minimize the occurrence of arrears and effective management of arrears collection.
