Participants should have practical experience in financial institution supervision and management of supervisory processes to relate the discussed topics to their practical experience.
Course Description
The course provides a concise yet focused overview of the RBS framework for senior mangers. It equips supervisory leaders with the necessary concept to effectively manage RBS change and adapt supervisory approach within a dynamic and increasingly complex financial landscape. Participants will explore the advantages and challenges of the RBS, along with the essential preconditions required for its successful implementation and further refinement. The program will cover the critical components of the RBS and the change management process. The course emphasizes strategies to enhance organizational efficiency in the supervision through synergy, decentralization and risk specialization. Key thematic areas include the application of supervisory judgment and quality control mechanisms, the alignment of RBS with Pillar 2, the integration of systemic risk considerations and integration of microprudential and macroprudential supervision. Through case studies drawn from regional and international contexts, participants will gain practical insights into the implementation of RBS across diverse regulatory environments.
