Press Release: World Bank Group and IMF Set Meetings for September 29-30, 2001

The Executive Directors of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreed today to consolidate the joint 56th Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors on September 30, 2001 in Washington, D.C. The meetings of the IMF's International Monetary and Financial Committee and the World Bank-IMF Development Committee will take place on September 29, 2001.
The decisions were taken following consultations with the U.S. Government (see News Brief No. 01/77).
