Press Release: Discussions on Review of Turkey's Stand-By Arrangement With the IMF to Resume on October 12

Hugh Bredenkamp, the IMF Senior Resident Representative in Turkey, issued the following statement:
"An IMF mission, headed by Mr. Lorenzo Giorgianni, will visit Turkey beginning October 12 to continue discussions with the authorities on progress in implementing their economic program, which is supported by the IMF under a three-year Stand-By Arrangement. These discussions began on September 8, and continued during the Annual Meetings of the IMF and World Bank in Washington D.C. (see Press Release No. 05/212)."
