Statement by IMF Managing Director Rodrigo de Rato on Bombings in India

Mr. Rodrigo de Rato, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), issued the following statement:
"I offer my deepest condolences and sympathy to the people of India, and particularly to the families of those people so brutally killed earlier today in Mumbai. I want to add my voice to the others in condemning this atrocious attack on the innocent people of Mumbai. As the head of a collaborative international institution, I must stress that the IMF will continue to do its part in the fight against the financing of terrorism."
