Press Release: Statement by IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine

Max Alier, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Resident Representative in Ukraine, issued the following statement in Kyev today:
"An IMF mission headed by Mr. Thanos Arvanitis will visit Ukraine on November 3-15 to conduct the discussions on the first review under the Stand-By Arrangement (SBA)".
The SBA was approved on July 29, 2010 for SDR 10 billion (about US$15.8 billion) in support of the authorities’ economic adjustment and reform program (see Press Release No. 10/305).
