Mauricio Villafuerte is a Deputy Division Chief in the IMF’s Fiscal Affairs Department. He specializes in fiscal and monetary policy issues in natural resource-rich countries and has produced several publications on fiscal policy management and fiscal institutions (specifically fiscal rules and natural resource funds) in those countries.
