The course targets CBSL staff who are directly involved in advising on or carrying out monetary policy analysis, monetary policy implementation, and market operations.

This Monetary Policy Implementation Course designed for the CBSL, seeks to provide a thorough theoretical and practical background for implementing an interest-rate focused monetary policy framework. The program includes lectures on monetary policy implementation, including money market operations, liquidity analysis, and liquidity management frameworks. The lectures will be complemented with hands-on exercises simulating the liquidity committee decision-making process. There will be ample room for in-depth discussions and Q&A.
