Franck Ouattara is a Research Analyst in the Regional Studies Division of the IMF’s African Department. He has worked on nowcasting, digitalization, sovereign debt, regional inequality, and capacity development. Prior to joining the IMF, he conducted research at the Brookings Institution’s Africa Growth Initiative and worked as a consultant at PwC. He received a master’s degree in International Economics and Finance from Johns Hopkins University, and a MA/MBA joint degree from the Lauder Institute and University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
