Xavier Lavayssière is a digital finance expert working with the Digital Advisory Unit of the Information Technology Department. He focuses on the intersection of technical architectures, policy objectives, and regulations of new digital finance infrastructures. Since 2014, Xavier has participated in developing tooling, education programs and research on crypto assets and their regulatory implications. He has published on security tokens legal frameworks, global stablecoins, and Central Bank Digital Currencies. Mr Lavayssière is a lecturer at University Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne and participates in the work of the Blockchain and Platforms chair of École Polytechnique. He graduated in Public Law of the Economy at Panthéon-Assas University and in Computer Science at the University of Lyon.
